American barns have become very popular with horse owners, and
Shufflebottom has recently supplied one to Belgrave Bloodstock at
Hungerford, Berkshire. In an American barn, horses are accommodated
in loose boxes on either side of a central passageway. The whole
building is roofed, and so horses and people are protected from the
elements. The steel-framed American barn for Belgrave Bloodstock is
44.54m long by 12m wide and 3.8m to the eaves. Shufflebottom has
also provided Belgrave Bloodstock with a riding school, 16.36m by
20m and 3.8m to the eaves.
