Peterborough Community Church moved into Kings Gate, a
purpose-designed Shufflebottom steel-framed building, in autumn
2006. The church, built on a 12.4-acre site, caters for a
congregation of 1,500 worshippers. Since the first service in a
family home in 1988, Peterborough Community Church has grown
continuously, moving from community centres to schools to
Peterborough Regional College as the congregation expanded, before
achieving its own permanent home.
