CK supermarket in Llandysul

New supermarket for expanding Welsh chain: CK's Supermarkets, the largest independent food retailer in South West Wales, chose a Shufflebottom for their new 10,360 sq ft store at Llandysul, Ceredigion.

The steel-framed building is 44.81 metres long by 21.50 metres wide, and the height to the eaves is 4.375m. There is an additional 1.06 metre eaves overhang on all four sides of the building, which has six bays and a roof clad in Kingspan XL plastic-coated insulated composite panel, coloured goosewing grey, with an 80mm core.

The Llandysul supermarket, in Pencader Road, is the latest in the CK chain of over 20 stores, and one of two opening in 2010. CK's, a member of the Nisa-Today's buying group, began in 1988 when Christopher Kiley, the managing director, opened his first store in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire.
