General purpose building at Lempitlaw

J S Baird & Sons of Lurdenlaw Farm, Lempitlaw, Kelso in Roxburghshire, Scotland, opted for a 200 feet long general-purpose agricultural building from Shufflebottom.

 

The building is 60 feet wide and 17 feet to the eaves, and has 20 bays. The steelwork has a hot-dipped galvanised finish, and the building includes the Shufflebottom eaves beam gutter system. The roof cladding is 0.7mm single-skin plastic-coated box profile with a closed ridge, and is coloured ocean blue. There are 40 rooflights. Three sides are clad to 13 feet below the eaves in vertical 0.5mm plastic-coated box profile, in ocean blue, with Ultrazed side rails. The fourth side is open.

 

Paul Dickson Ltd supplied concrete wall panels 1.5 metres by 95mm thick, to one side and both ends.
