Grain store for Macmerry in East Lothian

A Shufflebottom grain store/ general purpose building has been supplied to R & A Kennedy, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, for a site in Scotland at Adniston Farm, Macmerry, East Lothian. The building, 120 feet long, 141 feet 4 inches wide and 24 feet high to the eaves, incorporates the Shufflebottom eaves beam gutter system in 3mm thick galvanised steel.

 

The roof, clad in natural grey Eternit P6R fibre cement with closed ridges, has 96 roof lights. The roller shutter door is 20 feet wide and 20 feet high, and there are three personnel doors. The side cladding is vertical 0.5mm plastic coated box profile with Ultrazed side rails. Spill flashing to the perimeter of the building is of galvanised steel.
