Camping in the Country
The proprietors of a Norfolk caravan and camping park, the
family firm M & J E Attew & Son, have a new Shufflebottom
building and extension, sited at Glebe Farm, White Post Road,
Hanworth, near the coast of north Norfolk, not far from the resort
of Cromer.
The steel-framed building is 52.497m long, 13.6m wide, and 3.4m
to the eaves. A steel-framed extension, 34.998m long by 13.6m wide,
and also 3.4m to the eaves, adds to the interior capacity. The
building and extension incorporate the integral Shufflebottom
Galvanised Eaves Beam and Valley Gutter System. The steelwork,
shotblast to BS SA 2.5, has a hot dipped galvanised finish to BNEN
1461. Treated-timber vertical Yorkshire boarding forms the side
cladding, and the roof cladding is natural grey P6R fibre cement
roof sheets with a closed ridge, and 30 rooflights.
The Attews' caravan and camping park, called Deer's Glade,
is in tranquil rural surroundings, with a fishing lake, play area,
dog walk, woodland walks and even broadband internet access.
