Industrial building for St Saviour on Jersey

A double-span hipped steel-framed industrial building with a mezzanine floor has been constructed for James and Clifford Langlois at St Saviour, Jersey.

 

The building is 33.5 metres long and 64.4 metres wide, and 5.182 metres high to the eaves. The steelwork has a hot dipped galvanised finish.

 

Roof cladding is 0.5mm plastic coated box profile Kingspan 80mm composite insulated panels. Polycarbonate multiwall rooflights cover one-tenth of the roof area. Side cladding is 0.5mm plastic coated box profile Kingspan 60mm composite insulated panels.

 

There are three remotely controlled roller shutter doors 6 metres by 4.5 metres, and another one 5.583 metres by 4.5 metres. In addition there are six disabled-access personnel doors, each 1 metre wide by 2.1 metres high.
