Complex in Portsmouth
Shufflebottom has supplied three steel-framed buildings to
Gateway Building Services Ltd of Southampton, which is undertaking
an industrial development in Portsmouth for Colas Ltd.
The buildings are:
Workshop, 12.5 metres by 8.2 metres with a
height of 5.486 metres to the eaves. The steelwork is shotblast to
B.S. SA2.5 and painted with zinc-phosphate high-build primer. The
roof cladding is 0.7mm single-skin plastic-coated box-profile with
curved eaves.
Salt barn, 12 metres by 15 metres and 6 metres
high to the eaves, the steelwork shotblast to B.S. SA2.5, with a
hot-dipped galvanised finish. The roof is clad in natural grey P6R
fibre cement. All four sides, apart from the doorways, have
pre-stressed concrete panels, 180mm thick by 5 metres high.
Industrial building, 20.5 metres long by 13
metres wide, and 5 metres up to the eaves. The shotblast steelwork
has a hot-dipped galvanised finish. Kingspan 0.5mm leathergrain
plastic-coated box-profile 80mm composite insulated panels clad the
roof.
