Hot-rolled steel for urban village in Swansea

Shufflebottom has contributed 184 tonnes of hot-rolled steel for the £25 million 'urban village' development in the High Street/ The Strand/ Kings Lane area of Swansea, which will have 75 apartments, a three-storey car park, shops, offices, and food and drink outlets. Contractors the Midas Group are constructing the development for the Swansea-based  Coastal Housing Group, which was formerly the Swansea Housing Association and the Dewi Sant Housing Association. The development, part of a five-year regeneration plan for central Swansea, is intended to attract creative industries, and to create about 425 full-time and part-time jobs once it has been completed.
