The general-purpose building for N Woodroffe & Sons, at
Hundred Roads, Crowland, near Peterborough, is 90 feet by 76 feet,
and 24 feet to the eaves. The steelwork is shotblast to B.S. SA 2.5
and painted in 75 micron zinc phosphate high-build primer in
green.
Concrete panels 145mm thick and 12 feet high line both sides and
one end. All three up-and-over doors -- two 20 feet by 20 feet and
one 12 feet by 12 feet -- are electrically operated. In addition
there are three personnel doors.
A fan house 20 feet square adjoins the rear elevation.
The roof cladding is 0.5mm plastic-coated box profile with 100mm
composite insulated panels, without rooflights. The side cladding
is also 0.5mm plastic-coated box profile with composite insulated
panels.
