Pig unit in Norfolk

Shufflebottom buildings at Spring Farm, Moulton St Mary, Norwich, have helped create an impressive pig farm for Mr Thomas Wright.

The buildings, illustrated, include freestanding units for pig production, each 140 feet long and 50 feet wide, and 14 feet high to the eaves. The steelwork, shotblast to B.S. SA 2.5, is painted with 75 micron zinc phosphate high build primer in green. Roof cladding is Eternit P6R fibre cement in natural grey, with vented ridges.

These well-ventilated buildings provide a sheltered but airy environment for the pigs.
