Twin Span Grain Store
A twin-span grain store, each half 48m long and 24m wide, and 7.62m high to the eaves, was constructed at Normanton on the Wolds, Keyworth, Nottinghamshire.
The shotblast steelwork is painted with 75 microns zinc phosphate high-build primer in green. The roof cladding is natural grey P6R fibre cement with closed ridges and fibre cement eaves closures. The Shufflebottom eaves beam gutter system is externally mounted. There are four three-phase operated roller shutter doors, and two personnel doors. Pre-stressed concrete panels 145mm thick and 3.6m high are fitted around the building, and down the centre. The building also includes spill plates and four mechanically operated louvres.
