The details

Pink finishes on the building reinforce the Pink Pig brand name.
The north elevation contains a striking window 4.7m wide and 7m high at its apex.

Light also streams through the 12 roof lights in the insulated main roof, which is clad with 0.5mm Kingspan KS1000RW XL Forte leathergrain plastic-coated box profile in grey. Terracotta is the colour chosen for the roof cladding on the lean-to. The insulated side cladding is also Kingspan KS 1000RW XL, vertical plastic-coated box profile, coloured anthracite.

The purlins and eaves beam are Ultrazeds. The lean-to has an extra row of purlins for snow loading.

Pink Pig Farm is home to Andrew and Sally Jackson and their family. Andrew is an arable farmer, and Sally has driven the diversification, which prioritises local produce.
