Clearspan Building for Garden Centre

Cherry Lane Garden Centre in Bradmore, Nottingham, has a freestanding clearspan Shufflebottom building against an existing building. The seven-bay building is 42m long by 25.94m wide, and 2.7m high to the eaves. 

Kingspan KS1000RW 0.5mm XL Forte insulated composite panels, in olive green, provide the roof cladding. The 16 roof lights are each 3m long GRP Trilite Energysavers. Side cladding is vertical Kingspan KS1000RW 0.5mm insulated composite panel with an 80mm-thick core, with drip flashing below the cladding. 

With steelwork shotblast to B.S. SA 2.5 and painted blue in 75 micron zinc phosphate high-build primer, Ultrazed side rails, three windows, five personnel doors and a double personnel door, the building also has an Ultrazed cold-rolled eaves beam.  

The structure, supplied through Brown Builders Ltd of Offton, Ipswich, provides an attractive and functional setting for the garden centre, and is welcoming for customers.
