Shufflebottom celebrates 40 years of building success

Shufflebottom is celebrating a major milestone this year as the business marks 40 years since incorporation.

Based in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, our family-founded company has grown into one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of steel-framed agricultural, equestrian, industrial and commercial buildings, supplying projects across Wales and throughout the UK.

To celebrate the occasion, staff gathered at our company headquarters for cake and refreshments, recognising not only the success of the business but also the people behind it. Many employees have dedicated decades to the company, with several families seeing multiple generations work at Shufflebottom over the years.

Commercial and Technical Director Richard Wigley said:

“Reaching 40 years since incorporation is a significant achievement and one we’re incredibly proud of.

“This milestone is really about our people - the staff, families, customers and local community who have supported Shufflebottom over the years. We’re proud to remain a major local employer in Carmarthenshire while continuing to deliver quality steel-framed buildings for customers across the UK.”

With strong Welsh roots and a continued investment in skilled local jobs, apprenticeships and advanced manufacturing technology, the business remains focused on supporting future generations while delivering buildings customers can rely on.
