Shufflebottom Announces Breast Cancer UK as Charity of the Year
Shufflebottom is proud to announce Breast Cancer UK as our Charity of the Year.
As a family-founded business with strong roots in Wales, supporting people and communities has always been part of who we are. Over the next 12 months, our team will be taking part in a range of fundraising activities to support the important work Breast Cancer UK carries out across the country.
Why Breast Cancer UK?
Breast Cancer UK is focused on prevention as well as treatment. Their work centres around:
Raising awareness and educating
Providing practical guidance to help people reduce their personal risk
Funding scientific research into the root causes of breast cancer
Campaigning for policy change to better protect communities
Building a movement that ensures prevention is taken seriously alongside treatment.
The charity’s proactive, forward-thinking approach resonated strongly with our team. It is about acting early, taking responsibility and investing in long-term change.
A Year of Action
Over the coming year, colleagues across our design, manufacturing and site teams will take part in fundraising events and awareness activities. We are looking forward to working together, getting involved and making a meaningful contribution.
We will be sharing updates as the year progresses and welcome support from clients, partners and suppliers who would like to get involved.
