£7,343 raised at the Shufflebottom Charity Golf Day

Customers, contractors, suppliers and supporters joined us at Machynys Golf Club on Friday 17 July for the Shufflebottom Charity Golf Day, raising an incredible £7,343 for Breast Cancer UK.

We could not have asked for better conditions, with blue skies and sunshine providing the perfect backdrop for a full day of golf, fundraising and friendly competition.

The support we received for the event was tremendous. We were overwhelmed by the number and variety of raffle and auction prizes generously donated by businesses and individuals, helping us put together an excellent selection of lots for our guests.

We would like to thank every company and individual who donated a prize, placed a bid, purchased raffle tickets or contributed to the fundraising in any other way. The generosity shown throughout the event was greatly appreciated and played an important part in achieving such a fantastic total.

Our thanks also go to everyone who entered a team, attended as a guest or supported the event behind the scenes. It was fantastic to bring together so many of our customers, contractors, suppliers and friends for an enjoyable day in support of such an important cause.

A special thank you must also go to the team at Machynys Golf Club for being such incredible hosts. From the golf and hospitality to the meal and event support, the whole day ran extremely smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

Following the success of this year’s event, plans are already beginning for the next Shufflebottom Charity Golf Day. We will shortly be announcing a save-the-date, so please keep an eye on your inbox.
