Shufflebottom wins Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Carmarthenshire Business Awards 2026

We are incredibly proud to announce that Shufflebottom has been named Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Carmarthenshire Business Awards 2026.
Ten members of the Shufflebottom team attended the awards ceremony at Parc y Scarlets on Friday 10 July, where businesses and individuals from across the county came together to celebrate the very best of Carmarthenshire.
The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Ben Thomas, Operations Director; Richard Wigley, Commercial & Technical Director; and Will Garmey, Finance Director.
Winning the award is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Shufflebottom, recognising the skill, hard work and dedication that goes into designing and manufacturing our steel-framed buildings here in Carmarthenshire.
It also comes at an especially meaningful time for us as we celebrate our 40th anniversary.
Richard Wigley said:

Over the past 40 years, Shufflebottom has grown and developed considerably, but our people have always remained central to our success.
We continue to invest in our manufacturing capabilities, technology and facilities, while combining the latest equipment and processes with the knowledge and experience of our team.
Operations Director Ben Thomas, who joined Shufflebottom 18 months ago, said:
“This award is proof of what can be achieved when great people share a commitment to continuous improvement and aren’t afraid to embrace change.
“People make businesses great, and it has been a privilege to lead a team with such ambition, dedication and drive. Watching everyone work together to build on Shufflebottom’s success has made me prouder as a leader than ever before.”
