Agricultural and Equestrian steel-framed buildings

Shufflebottom designs and manufactures bespoke steel-framed agricultural and equestrian buildings that are built to last. From livestock housing and grain stores to barns, machinery workshops and equestrian facilities, every building is tailored to its purpose, site and future use.

With decades of experience supporting farmers and equestrian professionals across the UK, we provide expert guidance from first conversation through to completion.

A building designed around you

Choosing Shufflebottom means working with a knowledgeable, practical team who understands how agricultural and equestrian buildings are used day to day.

We support you through the entire process, helping you:

  • Define the right layout, span and access for your operation

  • Choose specifications that suit demanding environments

  • Plan for future changes, expansion or diversification

  • Balance performance, durability and long-term value

As the first agri steelwork business to gain accreditation, every building carries the CE Mark and is designed to meet BS 5502 (agriculture) or BS5950 (industrial) standards and engineered for dependable performance over its full working life.

Built-in quality that makes a Shufflebottom building different

Quality is built into every stage of a Shufflebottom building. All steelwork is designed, fabricated and finished in-house, giving us full control over standards, consistency and reliability.

Steelwork finishes

Painted or galvanised steelwork is available, with expert advice to help you choose the most appropriate finish for your environment, usage and maintenance expectations.

Concrete walling

Pre-stressed concrete panels are available in a range of thicknesses and heights, providing durable solutions for livestock housing, grain storage and general agricultural use.

Doors and access

Doors are specified to suit how the building will be used, with options including sliding doors, roller doors, gates and high-security personnel doors. Sizes, configurations and finishes can all be tailored to suit standard or non-standard openings.

Flexible delivery options to suit your project

Shufflebottom agricultural and equestrian buildings are available as supply-only kits or with a full supply and erect service.

Supply-only (kit buildings)

Ideal for customers who want flexibility and shorter lead times, allowing buildings to be erected at a pace that suits their programme and site.

Shufflebottom are an ideal company to work with even if, like us, you have no in depth building knowledge, as they were very good at communicating the whole process for the project and kept us informed at every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them as they are a highly professional and skilled team”
