Double-Span Cattle and Sheep House

A double-span cattle and sheep house at Tealing, near Dundee, is 52.8m long. The main span is 23.742m wide, with a narrower 14.467m span to the side. 

The steel-framed structure incorporates the Shufflebottom 3mm galvanised eaves beam gutter system. Roof cladding is P6R fibre cement in 'Natural Grey' with open protected ridge.

Side cladding is vertical 0.5mm single-skin plastic-coated box profile in 'Juniper Green', with Ultrazed 200140 side rails, sag bars and diagonal wire ties. On one side of the main and the side buildings, side cladding is Ventair box profile. Each building also has one open side.

The complex includes a dung midden 16m by 4m, and 2m high, with pre-stressed concrete wall panels 145mm thick.
